Jasper County deputies had to wrestle a woman into custody following a drunken disturbance at Rayburn Country Club on Sunday night.
According to the report, 60-year-old Brookeland resident Robyn Goyette was extremely intoxicated and screaming and cursing at country club employees.
The report said that when a deputy tried to place Goyette into custody, she began resisting.
Goyette was taken to the Jasper County Jail where she was charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest.
Goyette was recently elected to the City Council of the small town of Browndell in far north Jasper County.
