The Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Department on Monday said that several wildfires were raging across the parish, and some residents were being urged to evacuate. The department said the most serious one was west of Florien. In fact, the smoke from that fire was being picked up on weather radar. Meanwhile, the sheriff’s department said that residents in the path of that fire needed to evacuate.
