Firefighters were back at work in the Fairmount Community early Monday afternoon, in the same area where they battled a house fire just two hours earlier. Daily News & More is reporting that they had to deal with a wildfire which broke out shortly after 1:00 in the 400 block of McGee Landing. Fortunately, firefighters from the Fairmount, Six Mile, Hemphill, and Pineland Fire Departments were still close by at the scene of the house fire when the wildfire broke out.
