A wanted man was captured in Brookeland on Wednesday morning.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, Sergeant Chris Wade and Deputy Jacob Spivey went to the 100 block of Live Oak Lane in search of 57-year-old Dewie Motes and they found him behind a house.
Motes was wanted on charges of Terroristic Threats and Assault-Family Violence.
He was arrested and taken to the Jasper County Jail.
