Emergency crews were out early on Friday morning and responding to a rollover crash just south of Jasper. It happened at about 6:30 on Highway 96 near Private Road 8032. Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said David Waligorski, 40, of Vidor, was driving a 2002 Toyota SUV northbound when, for an unknown reason, he went off the highway. Clark said the vehicle flipped over several times and then struck a road sign. Sergeant Clark said Waligorski had non-life-threatening injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
