A Vidor man has been arrested and charged with Murder after Vidor Police say he admitted to shooting and killing his wife inside their house late Thursday night.
Police said they arrived to find the suspect, 64-year-old Robert Howerton, outside the house and inside they found the body of 55-year-old Tonia Lynn Howerton on the bedroom floor.
The arrest affidavit said the woman had been shot in the head.
