SHREVEPORT, La. - The coroner has identified the person killed in a deadly crash Wednesday night in Caddo Parish. He is Jacob Jerome, 27, of North Hampton Drive. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of Shreveport/Blanchard Highway. Deputies say the pickup truck veered off the road and hit a ditch, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times before landing on a metal fence. Jerome was pronounced dead at the scene.
