VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Several fire departments responded to a Van Zandt County house fire on Christmas morning. The South Van Zandt Volunteer Fire Department received the first call around 9:15 a.m. and responded to the house on County Road 1203, according to Grand Saline Volunteer Fire Department PIO Caden Mosher. Mosher said several more calls came in and both the Grand Saline Fire Department and the Canton Fire Department also responded. According to Mosher, no one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported. The Van Zandt County fire marshal is investigating the incident.
