A man had what appeared to be serious injuries in a northwest Jasper County crash on Friday evening. It happened shortly before 8:00 on Highway 63 West, almost to the Angelina County line. According to DPS Sergeant Shana Clark, a Lincoln Town Car was westbound when it went off the highway and crashed head-on into a tree. Clark said the unidentified driver fled the scene on foot and remains at-large. Meanwhile, the Angelina River Fire Department had to get the passenger out. He has been identified as 26-year-old Bradley Bryan, of Pollock. He was taken to an area hospital with significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
