Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark says a driver died following a late Sunday afternoon rollover crash east of Jasper. It happened at about 4:30 on Farm to Market Road 1408, just off of Highway 63 East. Sergeant Clark says 71-year-old C.J. Collins, of Jasper, was traveling northbound in a 2014 Dodge pickup truck when he went off the highway, overcorrected, and then the truck rolled onto its side and slid across the highway to the other side. Sergeant Clark said Collins was dead on arrival at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
