A driver had minor injuries following a one-vehicle crash on Tuesday evening. It happened shortly before 7:00 on Highway 63 West about 7 miles out of Jasper.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said 26-year-old Ricky Martinez, of Jasper, was driving a Chevrolet Cruz westbound at an unsafe speed on the wet highway when the car went off the roadway and crashed into trees.
Martinez was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
