The Texas Department of Public Safety says the driver of an all-terrain vehicle was killed and two passengers were injured in an early Sunday morning crash near Buna. It happened shortly after 3:00 on County Road 797 near County Road 800, just south of Buna.
DPS Sergeant Shana Clark said 23-year-old Justin Miller, of Kountze, was driving a Can-Am Maverick westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve. The ATV went off the road and overturned.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers, Marilynn Molander, 22, and Kyle McDaniel, 23, were both taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
