Two people injured in Wednesday morning accident in Kirbyville

A two car auto accident that occurred in the middle of Kirbyville on Wednesday morning sent to people to the hospital. Th accident occurred shortly after 8:00 on Highway 96, in front of Weaver Motors. According to the police report, Daniel Radusch, 40 from Kirbyville, was driving a Dodge Charger south on Highway 96 at a high rate of speed when he crossed over the turning lane in front of Weaver Motors and veered into the northbound lane, striking an oncoming truck. The 2015 Ford F150 pick up driven by Francisco Sanches-Orozo, 43,s from Fort Worth, was unable to avoid the oncoming car. When first responders arrived on scene, officers said Radusch was disoriented and walking down the road away from the accident. He was taken by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital where a toxicology and blood test were administered. Sanches- Orosco, was taken by life flight to a hospital in Kingwood.
