A plane crash in Huntsville late Wednesday morning has left two people dead. The Texas Department of Public Safety says it occurred shortly before noon at the Huntsville Municipal Airport. The Huntsville Item newspaper is quoting DPS Sergeant Erik Burse as saying that it happened as the aircraft, a Cessna 150, was taking off, but no other information about the circumstances of the crash are known. DPS says one person in the plane was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other person in the plane died while being transported to a hospital. There was no report of anyone on the ground being injured.
