EVADALE, Texas (KTRE) - Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a robbery that occurred in Evadale.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were investigating the alleged assault of a 16-year-old Friday.
During the investigation, authorities learned that a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old not only assaulted the victim but also stole money from him.
Both suspects were arrested on charges of robbery Saturday.
The 17-year-old was taken to the Jasper County Jail, and the 15-year-old was taken to the Hardin County Juvenile Detention Facility.
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing the names or photos of the people involved in this incident.
