Two people were injured – one seriously – in an early Sunday morning crash involving an all-terrain vehicle. It happened at about 3:30 at the intersection of County Roads 317 and 322, about 7 miles southwest of Jasper. Beech Grove Fire Chief Jamie Gunter said the ATV overturned and the most seriously injured, a female, appeared to have been thrown off. She was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Gunter said the other person had only minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
