Thanksgiving was a bad day for two Evadale men, they were both injured in a rollover wreck on the Highway 96 Neches River Bridge at Evadale. Department of Public Safety Sergeant Shana Clark said it happened shortly after 3:00 as Cody Holmes, 40, was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck southbound. Sergeant Clark said Holmes failed to drive in his lane which resulted in the truck striking the bridge guardrail. The truck then went out of control and rolled over. Holmes and his passenger, Alexander Thornton, 39, were both transported to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with non-life-threatening injuries.
