Two people were injured in a Tuesday boating accident on the Neches River. Texas Parks and Wildlife and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department say that it happened near the entrance to John's Lake, which is 8 miles due west of Buna.
Officials say the boat was carrying four people when it reportedly struck an underwater obstacle.
Of the four onboard, two were injured, including one who had to be flown out by medical helicopter.
Their identities were not immediately available.
