Two Golden Triangle men cited for pintail duck hunting violations in Louisiana

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries says that two Golden Triangle men have been issued citations for recent pintail duck hunting violations in Cameron Parish. The state agency says the offenses occurred on Sunday, January 21st. The agency said Brandon Click, 44, of Orange, and Philip Hatton, 45, of Kountze, were cited for taking over the limit of pintail ducks and intentional concealment of wildlife. The alleged violations occurred in the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge. The Department of Wildlife & Fisheries says that their agents noticed Click and Hatton with five ducks on the bow of their boat, and after stopping them they found a total of seven pintail ducks with five of them hidden from view. The agency says that the limit for pintail ducks is one per hunter per day. Each man now faces up to 120 days in jail for each offense and a fine up to $950.00 for each offense.
