Beaumont police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a man and woman at about 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Police responded to the 400 block of South 4th Street, where they found two dead individuals in the parking lot of a business. Initial investigation revealed the motorcycle was traveling north on Fourth Street at a high rate of speed. Both the operator and the passenger were ejected after the operator lost control and struck the curb in the 500 block of South Fourth Street, and then a fence. The victims were identified as Devin Moore, 26, of Orange, and Shanice Richards, 28, of Beaumont. Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has ordered autopsies.
