Two men are dead and one man is in critical condition after an explosion in the Golden Triangle. It happened on a work boat in Taylor Bayou near Port Arthur.
What caused the explosion is under investigation.
The names of those involved have not yet been released, but Justice of the Peace Joseph Guillory says one man was the boat captain and he lived in Abbeville, Louisiana, while the other man was a worker on the boat, he was in his early 40’s and was from Houma, Louisiana. They both died shortly after arrival at a hospital. Judge Guillory has ordered autopsies.
There’s no information about the injured man.
