The family of Joyce Badon, one of five young people missing from Beaumont after the catastrophic flooding in the Texas Hill Country, has found her body.
The aunt and uncle of Reese Manchaca posted that her body was also found "in the rubble and debris left by the rushing flood waters in Hunt Texas area. I thank all of the thoughts and Prayers during this time. Please continue to pray for other folks that are still waiting on word of their lost loved ones and for comfort for the families of the deceased that have been found.. My heart really hurts."
Badon and Menchaca were with Aidan Heartfield and Ella Cahill when floodwaters swept through Hunt during the morning on July 4. All are Kelly High School graduates.
The search continues for Heartfield and Cahill, who were dating. They were all staying at the home of Heartfield's late grandfather, federal judge Thad Heartfield.
St. Anne Catholic School posted that Mary Grace Baker from Beaumont is among the many young girls still missing from Camp Mystic, one of the camps overrun by floodwaters.
A total of 89 people have now been confirmed dead following the flood and it is estimated that 40 or more are still missing.
