The unidentified driver of an eighteen wheeled tractor truck with a full load of lumber in tow, turned over on Thursday evening at the intersection of Farm to Market Roads 1005 and 1013 in Mount Union.
What caused the crash is unknown, but word is the truck might have made several bobbles in the road prior to the turning over as it headed west on FM-1013, approaching the intersection of FM-1005.
The truck rolled to it's passenger side, causing the large load of pine 2x4 lumber to spill across the intersection and into the shoulders of the roadway.
The volunteers of the Tri-Community Fire Department arrived at the site and immediately went to work treating the injuries of the truck driver and providing traffic control until the truck could be uprighted and the spilled lumber removed from the roadway.
The crash occurred shortly after 6:00.
