Three teenagers were killed and three others were injured in a weekend wreck near Tyler. It happened at about 3:00 Saturday morning on a highway just south of that city. KLTV News is reporting that the six teens were all in a 2017 Nissan Altima when the car went off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Killed in the crash were:
- Raven M. Clewis, 19, of Dallas (driver)
- Jumija J. Clewis, 17, of Elkhart
- Sherie Butler, 17, of Palestine
Injured in the crash were:
- Jaylah Spurlock, 17, of Palestine
- Brianna S. Price, 17, of Palestine
- Chimsi Okonkwo, 16, unknown city of residence
