Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard says three suspects have been captured after they fled from deputies early Wednesday morning.
The report said the three were in a car that was reported stolen in Beaumont. A deputy stopped the car on County Road 796 near Buna and the three ran on foot into a wooded area.
A 16-year-old boy was captured during the noon hour Wednesday, and the other two were taken into custody later in the afternoon.
The two adults have been identified as Ja’Shawn Thompson, 19, and Rashode Wiltz, 21, both residents of Beaumont.
