MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Whataburger in Marshall that left two people dead and two others injured.
Cortavian Tatum, 18, surrendered to the Marshall Police Department Tuesday night and was booked into the Harrison County Jail on a murder charge. Police had identified Tatum as a suspect on Tuesday and warned the public he was considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting happened Saturday at the Whataburger on Victory Drive. The victims were identified as Trinity Valley Community College student James Morrow, 20, and Longview ISD graduate Jassiah Hill, 18. Two other people were shot and injured, police said.
Davion McDale Brown, 19, of Dallas, and Jamarrio Epps, 21, of Longview, were previously arrested in the case. Brown was charged with capital murder, and Epps was charged with murder.
Police have not released additional details about what led to the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
