LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE) - Forest Hill Police Department has announced that a man suspected in the March 3 shooting deaths of Ronnie Sibley, 30, and his 5-year-old daughter, R’mani Sibley, has been arrested.
On Thursday, one of the suspects in the shootings deaths was located and arrested in Livingston. He has been identified as Adonis Robinson, 24, of Fort Worth. It has not been stated what connection Robinson may have had to Livingston.
Another suspect, Jakobie Russell, 21, is still at large.
Sibley is a North Texas-area rapper whose stage name was G$ Lil Ronnie. He and his daughter were at a car wash in Forest Hill in the 650 block of Forest Hill Drive when they were shot to death.
Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez said that Robinson is in custody with the Texas Rangers following a coordinated effort with law enforcement agencies. He attributed the arrest to the “relentless investigation and investigation” of various agencies, including the Fort Worth Police Department Tactical Intelligence Unit. He said there is still a continuing effort to capture Russell.
