The Silsbee Police Department says a Beaumont teenager is now in jail and charged in connection with multiple shots fired that injured a teen during a large gathering. Chief Shawn Blackwell says Beaumont police arrested Diante Davon Sostand, 17, on Thursday night, on a charge of Deadly Conduct. He was transported to the Silsbee Police Department and then to the Hardin County Jail. Justice of the Peace Chris Ingram set his bond at $150,000. The arrest stems from multiple shots fired at about 11:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14, during an argument at a large gathering in the 300 block of South 14th Street in Silsbee. A 17-year-old male from Orange was taken by ambulance to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Chief Blackwell says the investigation is ongoing.
