Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby announced Monday that a suspect was arrested after several shots were fired and struck a home on Friday. In a statement, Burby said that it happened on County Road 4110 in the Old Salem Community. No other details were released and Burby said the name of the suspect is being withheld, pending formal charges at arraignment.
