SHREVEPORT, La. - The State Fair of Louisiana has announced details regarding its 119th Annual State Fair, returning Oct. 30 and running through Nov. 16, at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds in Shreveport.
Fairgoers will have the opportunity to purchase advance discount tickets starting July 7. Tickets will be available online at www.statefairoflouisiana.com.
This year’s Fair will once again feature Talley Amusements as the official carnival provider, delivering rides and a lively midway experience. Guests can also look forward to:
- A lineup of live entertainment and music
- Fair food favorites
- Unique shows and attractions
- Traditional livestock competitions
- Action-packed LRCA Finals Rodeo
The State Fair is a tradition for families across Louisiana and beyond.
Operating for 14 days, the State Fair will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Daily hours are 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission will remain free until 3 p.m. on weekdays, and parking is free throughout the entire run of the Fair.
Since its founding in 1906, the State Fair of Louisiana has focused on providing a fun, safe, and family-friendly environment. Enhanced safety protocols were added in 2023, and the fair will continue to provide additional security personnel, surveillance cameras and safety equipment to ensure a safe and secure experience for all guests.
