SHREVEPORT, La. — A woman found dead in a car inside the garage of her southwest Shreveport home Sunday died of natural causes, Shreveport police said Tuesday in a news release.
Mary Zachary, 65, was found unresponsive after a family member checked on the home in the 10000 block of Stonehaven Drive, just north of Williamson Way.
SPD detectives and the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office investigated. An autopsy was conducted.
"At this time, there are no signs of foul play, and the investigation has not revealed any evidence to suggest the death was anything other than the result of natural causes," the news release states.
SPD will provide an update if any new information contradicts detectives' current findings.
