SHREVEPORT, La. -- A 14-year-old girl has been arrested in a stabbing incident involving her father, Shreveport police said Tuesday in a news release. The juvenile is charged with attempted second-degree murder. Police responded to a stabbing call Monday night in the 2700 block of Lakehurst Street, where they found a man stabbed in the chest and hand. The man identified his attacker as his daughter, and the teen's mother and other witnesses verified the accusation, police said. The man was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where medical personnel determined his injuries were not life-threatening.
