A new Burke Center mental health facility has opened in Newton and on Tuesday they cut the ribbon and held an open house with Newton County Sheriff Robert Burby in attendance. The 4,750 square foot facility is on Highway 190 in southeast Newton next door to the Newton ISD Administration Building.
