TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Smith County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday evening to a mobile home park in Tyler where there was a report of gunshots or a stabbing.
At the scene, a number of sheriff’s office vehicles were present, as well as EMS. While our reporter was at the scene, the office manager at the mobile home park said that he dialed 911 after hearing a commotion nearby.
Also, a young man was seen being put in the back of an ambulance and taken to a hospital while we were at the scene.
Smith County Sheriff’s Office PIO Larry Christian said that they responded after the report of a stabbing or shooting. However, the victim refused to cooperate with deputies or press charges against the man who stabbed him, so the investigation has ended.
