A collision with a log truck in Polk County early Thursday morning has left a Silsbee couple dead. It happened at about 2:00 on U.S. Highway 287 in Corrigan.
Gary Vincent, 36, and his girlfriend, Sikui Oliveros, 25, were returning to Silsbee from a trip to North Dakota when Vincent’s pickup truck went off of the highway and hit the back end of a fully loaded log truck.
Gary Vincent was an oil & gas industry consultant and he owned a company in North Dakota named Texas Built Insulation LLC.
