SHREVEPORT, La. — The Shreveport Police Department arrested Gelynn Handy on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
The investigation began after a 13-year-old alleged victim participated in a forensic interview, during which police say she disclosed details of a sexual assault. Detectives continued their investigation and gathered sufficient evidence to secure arrest warrants.
On Saturday, Handy was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center with a bond set at $250,000.
