LEESVILLE, La. (KPLC) - An investigation is currently underway for fires that officials say were intentionally set in Leesville in September. Jonathan Eaves, 47, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 24, on two counts of arson with intent to defraud and one count of insurance fraud, according to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFM). Eaves is being accused of setting fire to a recreational vehicle and a vacant apartment complex located at 207 Carl St. on Sept. 10, according to SFM. The investigation is ongoing.
