The Beech Grove Fire Department responded to a pickup truck on fire early Friday evening. It happened shortly before 7:00 on the Highway 190 Dam B Bridge. A Jasper County deputy was first on scene and reported that the truck was completely engulfed. Fortunately, no one was in the vehicle and no injuries occurred. Meanwhile, emergency crews had to temporarily shut down traffic as they worked to douse the flames. The driver said the fire was caused by an electrical problem with the truck’s stereo system.
