SHONGALOO, La. -- A search is underway for a Shongaloo woman who was reported missing from her home around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Major Bobby Igo III said an all-out effort is currently being conducted in attempts to find Lacey Mann, 33, who apparently wandered away from her home in the 1300 block of state Highway 2. Her disappearance could be related to medical issues.
Igo said K-9 units, four-wheelers and drones are being utilized in the search which includes heavily wooded areas.
Mann is described as five-feet tall, weighing 95 pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair.
Officials have asked that anyone who may have seen Mann to please contact the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office.
“Often, the public plays a big part in helping locate a missing person,” Igo said. “We will continue to search for this lady and any information we receive will be appreciated.”
