SHREVEPORT, La. - A Shreveport man struck by a vehicle while riding a mobility scooter early Friday has died from his injuries and been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.
Solomon Boyd, 64, was hit just after 8 a.m. in the 100 block of East Stoner Avenue. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he underwent surgery, but he died Sunday morning.
An autopsy was ordered.
