A Sabine Parish man is accused of attacking another man with a knife.
Kristopher Neal Williams, 36, of Noble, is being held in the Sabine Parish Detention Center on one count each of attempted second-degree murder.
The attack occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday on Sam Webb Loop in Noble, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office reports.
The wounded man was taken to Sabine Medical Center in Many for treatment of serious wounds and later was transferred to Oscher LSU Health in Shreveport.
That’s where he had been working but left before authorities arrived.
Deputies searched the area and apprehended Williams.
Williams also was arrested on a warrant charging him with failing to show up in court for his arraignment on two traffic charges - speeding and having an expired driver’s license.
