Sabine County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

(Hemphill, Texas) During the evening hours on March 26, 2025, Deputies from the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Sea Breeze and Maritime.  Both the driver and passenger were identified during the course of the traffic and roadside interviews were conducted.  As a result of the interviews Deputies requested consent to search the purse of the driver who was identified as Jennifer Casey Rossignol (46) of Hemphill.  During the search three loaded needles where found which contained methamphetamine.    A search of the vehicle was also conducted and a pistol was also located inside the vehicle which Rossignol was driving and in close proximity to the driver’s seat.  She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying of a weapon.  The passenger, who was identified as Greg E. Anthony (63) of Many, Louisiana, was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance, which were also found inside the vehicle in close proximity to him.  Both were released after posting bond.
