(Hemphill, Texas) During the early morning hours of March 25, 2025, the Sabine County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Threat Operations Section (NTOS) of a potential incident involving a threat to life at the West Sabine Independent School District (WSISD). The information was voluntarily provided to the NTOS by the social media platform in accordance with standard protocols.
The Sabine County Sheriff’s Office responded based on the information provided to assist both the City of Pineland Police Department, the WSISD Police Department and the WSISD administration.
