Sabine County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy J.P. MacDonough says a deputy arrested a woman with a large amount of methamphetamine late Wednesday night.
According to the report, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 96 just north of the Jasper County line and inside the vehicle he found nearly 6 ounces of meth. He also learned that the driver, 38-year-old Victoria Nicole Logan, of Bronson, had an arrest warrant in Sabine County for Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
The report said Logan was taken to the Sabine County Jail where it was discovered that she also had cocaine hidden in her bra.
Logan is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
It was also noted that she was out of jail on bond for a recent arrest on five charges, one of which was Engaging in Organized Crime.
