Classes have been cancelled for all Rusk High School students after a sudden fire broke out inside one of their classrooms.
According to the Rusk ISD Superintendent Grey Burton, at around 9:10 p.m. the Rusk fire department responded to the high school campus after a fire erupted inside one of the classrooms. The fire was quickly contained and nobody was reported injured.
Classes have been cancelled in order to check the campus electrical system and cleanup.
Officials have not yet provided and official cause of the fire.
