The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced plans to mill and overlay US 190 in Beauregard Parish with Prairie Contractor, Inc. being awarded the job.
The $6 million project will resurface US 190 from LA 111 to US 171 to provide a safer and more efficient roadway.
The project began yesterday, January 8, 2020, and motorists can expect to see a one lane closure condensed to the current work zone throughout the duration of the project. This closure will move as the project progresses.
Motorists are asked to pay attention and watch for the flaggers that will be maintaining traffic in and around the work zone.
The entire project is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2020, weather permitting.
