COUSHATTA, La. -- A Red River Parish man is in jail after being arrested in a fatal hit and run crash Monday night. State police said Natalya Leggio, 52, of Coushatta died after she was hit while sitting near the edge of Meeks Road near Jenkins Lease Road in Coushatta. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver did not stop or contact law enforcement. LSP investigators identified the vehicle involved as a 2013 GMC SUV and connected it to William J. Williams, 43, of Coushatta. He was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Red River Parish Jail on a charge of felony hit and run driving.
