WARDVILLE, La. (KALB) - Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating possible human skeletal remains found on April 23.
RPSO said Deputies responded at around 4:30 p.m. to a civilian who claimed to have discovered skeletal remains in a burned out trailer on Lynn Road in Wardville.
Deputies, detectives and Crime Scene Units then responded to the scene and kept it secure until Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFM) could arrive.
RPSO said Sheriff’s Detectives are leading the investigation and SFM will give assistance.
