TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Police are searching for three suspects involved in a theft at a south Tyler jewelry store Monday. According to Tyler PD PIO Andy Erbaugh, the smash-and-grab happened at Zales in The Village at Cumberland Park. Officers were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. Monday. Erbaugh said they are searching for three suspects. Two men dressed in black and armed with hammers entered the store, smashed and emptied two display counters, and fled with a woman who was keeping watch outside, Erbaugh said. They are believed to have fled on foot heading east from the store. The incident is still being investigated.
