Jasper Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating both a stolen truck and their suspect in the crime.
According to Lieutenant Garrett Foster, the vehicle is a white 2006 Ford F-150 with a busted rear window, and has Texas license plate BT02983. It was taken from Advanced Automotive, located on Highway 96 next door to Jimmy Aud & Son Furniture and Appliances.
Foster said the truck was in the shop for repair, and the suspect, a 29-year-old white female named Cierra Westbrook, went into the business and took the keys off of a pegboard and stole the truck.
According to Foster, the truck has reportedly been seen in the Magnolia Springs area.
Less than two months ago in late April, Westbrook was arrested for another vehicle theft from a tire shop in the 1800 block of South Wheeler. In that case, she was accused of stealing a 2006 Ford Fusion which was recovered by Jasper Police.
